ABOUT THE D7 FORMULA

A New Front in National Defense

1995

D7’s Government-Funded Formulation Heralded a New Sanitization Standard

In 1995, a chemical nerve agent was released in Tokyo subways as an act of domestic bioterrorism. With 12 dead and over 1,000 civilians injured, the U.S. Government recognized the need for a better response to the increased danger of biowarfare at home and abroad. Funding was granted to Sandia Labs to create a broad-spectrum decontaminant with low toxicity and corrosivity properties that could be used against known and unknown biological and chemical warfare agents..

After years of research and development, the team at Sandia came up with the decontaminating foam technology that D7 is based on. This revolutionary formula was…

STRONG

Powerful enough to take on any challenge, from anthrax attacks to stubborn Staph biofilms

SAFE

Very low in toxic materials, making it easy to transport, store, and utilize in areas that needed to be safe for public access

ADAPTABLE

Customized to several different application methods, which ensured more effective use

Further Manufacture and Development

After the D7 base formula was developed and thoroughly tested, the patent was contracted out to the private business in order to continue strategic development and create this potentially life-saving substance on a commercial level. In 2012 Numerous head scientists and researchers from Sandia National Laboratories continued work on the D7 formula to refine and expand the product’s uses and efficacy. It wasn’t long before D7 became the leading standard in decontamination and safety for military personnel and first responders, plus the implementation of disinfectant protocols for the private and public sectors globally.

2015

D7’s Formulation Expansion into Food & Biosecurity

A 2015 avian flu outbreak in the United States prompted exploration of application cases for the food and biosecurity industry. After targeted testing, it soon became apparent that the D7 powerful formula was perfect for tackling food contamination issues, both in reaction to outbreaks and preventively for ongoing cleaning and sanitization. At the same time, the D7’s hydrogen-peroxide-based methodology was gentle enough to protect valuable equipment and safe enough to use in food production facilities*.

Since 2015 the D7 powerful formula has been through the exhaustive process of registering with the EPA, meticulously proving each claim through third-party testing.

Today

Investing In the Future

The D7 treatment application options continue to expand, providing safety in a multitude of industries worldwide. Large scale farming, meat packing facilities, food processing plants, hotels and resorts, sports stadiums, government entities just to name a few, all with different treatment applications and protocol requirements. The powerful solution also continues to prove its use in protecting the safety and health of first responders, hospital medical staff, and military personnel.

Today, The D7 formula Has cutting edge solutions for the toughest contamination and disinfecting challenges. D7 is tackling pathogens from Coronavirus and SARS to E. Coli and Salmonella and much more*. The strategic team of inventors and chemical engineers have increased the safety for every client in every sector that chooses D7 formula.

Our Recent Projects

The Shore Club

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands

A call from the resort manager initiated a visit. A thorough inspection of the resort was undertaken, common areas, resort suites and villas, beach and poolside, restaurants and bars, commercial kitchens, and office spaces all reviewed in detail.

Our team quickly went to work and reviewed the requirements of the resort and gained an understanding of what needed to be achieved as related to the hospitality sector, consumer confidence, and guest satisfaction. We put together a series of proposals for the appropriate protocols for each area.  Multiple factors were taken into consideration from location availability, staffing times, guests comfort, guest privacy, check-in and check-out days, to environmental and food prep considerations, a multitude of factors that all required a balance to achieve protocols being put in place as a preventative to reduce the risk factor of a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak upon reopening to the public.

The treatment protocols that were put in place are being implemented by the resort maintenance team. read more
